Opening reception will be held on September 21st 1-6 PM. At the Unseen Reality exhibition I show ywo of my new paintings from the Doors series. Doors No.1. ' We Come and Gone' subtitle .An acrylic, unique painting in frame depicts one of the gates of Forbidden City in Beijing; in this symbolic painting the visitors go through this beautiful gate and vanish like ghosts at the other side. 20 inches high by 16 inches wide. Doors No.2. 'Love Song' subtitle. An acrylic, one of a kind painting in frame, depicts an old, open door in Granada, Spain. Accompanied with a haiku poem,this door offers a methaphoric path to a mysterious, intruiging inner space. 20 inches high by 16 inches wide.
RECYCLE is a juried, nationwide exhibition. Displayed artworks are assembled of recycled materials , like my accepted , 2 dimensional collage, titled Salvador Mundi. size : 18 inches H x 14 inches W in mat and I chose special, ornate antique frame for it that makes the appearance more 3 dimensional. WHAT'S NEW - is the Spring members' show this year, where I show my newest pieces, titled Victory over Time . it is an assembled artwork, 2 dimensional, made from plastic, paper and watercolor paint. size : 27 3/4 inches in diameter.
I'm honored to be selected to this very prestigious national exhibition with my oil painting, "Messages of New York No.3." This painting depicts the Madison Square Garden's area in a summer night time in Manhattan. The award reception will be held in the Salmagundi Club in November 12, Saturday 1-3 PM

in our Spring exhibition, with the theme of "Portals" I show my large painting, titled "In and Out"; it depicts a large colored spiral with a floating figure in it, starting with yellow color, that changes to red, purple, blue and the small, center circle black, where the figure floats in a diving position - down. painted in acrylic on canvas size 36 x 40 inches
my "Messages of New York - In Search of Incredible" painting was selected to show in this nation-wide, annual - 125th - only female artists exhibition at the prestigious Salmagundi art club. This painting was the first of my New York cityscape series. painted in acrylic on canvas.

This opened juried show is the 23rd SALON EXHIBITION organized annually by the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center. Each exhibiting artist might have two artworks displayed, mine are my newest two cat paintings, from a series. This exhibition was organized by the Magyarok Haza Budapest, Hungary, selecting visual artwork from the contemporary Hungarian diaspora artists' work worldwide. The exhibition is on a worldwide tour for a year; after the difficulty with Covid, it started in the Topolya Museum, in Serbia now. On the mosaic poster there's my work, a 11" H x 14"W photograph, titled Beehive, I have taken at the Vessel, Manhattan in 2020.

I have got two painting in the show, one is titled "From above" . It is an acrylic painting on canvas; depicts enlarged, upclose, bright color citruses from an above angle. My goal was to paint a cheerful, hyperrealistic painting that can brightens one mood and shows mundane objects beauty. The smaller painting is an abstract gouache, titled "Music - Composition". It is a composition of rhythmically painted small squares.
at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition's Summer exhibition, "Plurality" I exhibit 2 paintings. The first is titled "Winter Dream". this is a surrealistic, acrylic painting with tiny brilliant glass pieces. The second is a portrait, titled "Masks". this depicts a man with two "masks", one is his contemporary face - shown as a mask in front of the body, and his face on the body shows his boy-face. it's an oil on canvas. in realistic style. please see illustration.
In this Spring members show I have 6 photographs, a series I made in December 2020 at the Hudson Yard and the Vessel. size: 16" x 20" in white frames, photos are on metallic papers, edition 1/12. Mostly taken during night time; my goal was showing this very interesting tower, and its futuristic details in abstract compositions.
OUTSIDE/OUTSIDER is a juried fine art exhibition, organized by the Long Island City Artists. The theme of this exhibition was mental problems, in general. my oil painting is a life size portrait of a man, titled "Masks". i painted it in realistic style, although partially surrealistic - because i wanted to emphasize the "every day", appearance of my theme. there will be a film festival showed on June 11. please check out the website.
At the XXth Vernissage of the Roosevelt Island Gallery I'm exhibiting my latest painting, "Winter Dream". It is an acrylic on wood panel, with tiny glass pieces on the top of the paint. I wanted to recreate the atmosphere that a frozen window gives us, with icy flowers, distorted shadows - and a dream. size : 18"H x 24"W a photo unable to capture its 3D dept, or reflections of the glass pieces.

Williamsburg Art & Historical Center ( WAH ) onsite exhibition, " Works created during the lockdown" open, juried exhibition with opening reception - in mask - Saturday 1-6pm the Center selected my painting I created earlier in 2020, titled "Winter mystery". an acrylic and glass painting on wood panel.
In this annual, opened, juried exhibition I participate with my oil painting, titled "Messages of New York No.2. " . a part of a series, this one depict Times Square, New York, in sunset, showing the not so touristy face of the area. However the real theme is the signs here, as on every paintings of this series. In the center, there is a white ad board , which is the seed of this painting: "Look up from your phone, it's REAL here". I placed this ad from a different location, aiming to achieve double irony, as Times Square is anything, but real...I'm trying to point out the danger of our convenient cell phones, meaning how it deform our language, thoughts, gives us the illusion of "real" communication...

This upcoming exhibition is organized by the oldest , only female artists organization in the U.S.. The 122nd annual , open, juried exhibition is a nation wide art show, where a selected artist can have one work to show, either a painting, graphic art or sculpture.(no photography, or digital art). I'll be exhibiting my recently finished oil painting, "Messages of New York No.3.", I just exhibited at the Audubon Artists 76th annual, open, juried exhibition in the Salmagundi Club, 47 Fifth Avenue New York City. The Audubon Artists organization chose my painting for the advertising poster (with 3 other works), that was shown in the kiosk in front of the Club on Fifth Avenue.
